Your words
Like
Knife
That still
Cut
Even through
The
Passage of time
And I
Hold a smile
While the
Clouds
Turn
Gray
And remind me
I'm not free.
I'm chained
To the
memory
Your Name holds;
Who you were
And who
You
No longer are
To
me.

Too Blind to See
People are so naive to what surrounds them and who surrounds them. To the love they are being offered and to the love that has been taken away. Unappreciative of what they have because they are too worried about what they don't. Some are so worried about the future when they are taking the present for granted;the future too will at one point become your present and will you take for granted what you worked so hard for? What you so worried for?
They seek for what they already have and are too blind to see. They look for the light in the darkness when they carry it within. They lose the things they didn't cherish to find out that was all they ever wanted. And ultimately, they try to impress the wrong people while they turn their backs on good hearts.

Devotion
I remember the look in your eyes
Staring; inviting me in- so welcoming.
My eyes glanced away and wondered
So lightly to the eyes they have been devoted to.
A pair of eyes that do not look back to me
Instead gaze towards the unknown; Eyes
That look away ever so effortlessly.

Captivating
It slowly rises from the horizon
In between the clouds. It seems
Near yet it is so far to grasp,
To touch but never too far to feel.
It slowly rises from within without
Warning in between butterflies and
Fear - lust, discovery, revival.
It seems closer,embracing its solid
Surroundings;close enough to grasp,
To touch, and even to feel.
It arrives unexpectedly creating
Expectations. It takes flight from
The highest of leaves just as freely
As when it made the tree her home.
But seasons change, and with the
Season her departure.
